“Great location. Automatic system of the doors. Friendly personal. Design of historical prison. Room is smal, but Ok. Toilet and shower is in very tiny place, and no full close wall between toilet and sleeping place. It's not comfortable. But thanks to organize - there are additional toilets and shower on the floor. It helps.”

“Place was a great experience for our family of 7. Only suggestions would be to put shelf’s and bat mats in the shower. There was water on the hallway floor. Breakfast was stellar.”

“It is a lovely but simple hotel with a great price and a fantastic central location. The room was furnished to a minimum, but you have everything you need for a comfy one or two night stay and it was all very new. The system to get in the hotel is a little confusing, and if you aren't tech savvy, it might be a little challenging, but otherwise, it was fine. The beds are on the firm side for those wondering, the toilet and shower in the same space can be a plus or minus depending, for a solo visit like me, it wasn't a problem, but there are communal showers if that's an issue to you. The price was very good and the staff were friendly. Check in at 3 is best because while the self check in works fine, you can ask questions right there and then. I did have a few minor hiccups with my room. For starters I ordered a single loft but they gave me a bigger bedroom (not a problem, I'll happily take the bigger bed), the bathroom light unfortunately didn't work and the casting option for the tv was a bit buggy, the room itself was very clean, fresh and bright. Climbing to the top bunk was a very dubious process, and I would only recommend it for children. Otherwise, if you're either staying by yourself or with one person, it's perfect, but maybe not ideal for a long stay with a family. If I ever visit Wismar again for a few days, I would happily stay here again.”

“Hotel has no air conditioning but provides a big standing fan. Windows have proper blackout curtains. Staff at desk was very helpful and appologised after saying most hotels in lubeck have no air- conditioning. This hotel is much better than Babette Guldsmeden Copenhagen hotel chain with ignorant and unappologetic reception when they have blood- stained sheets.”
